We are extremely excited partnering for a second year in a row with such a great organization for our event. What this means is 100% of the proceeds we receive from our fundraiser will absolutely be allocated to the cancer research programs impacting treatments and potential cures for many types of pediatric cancer being conducted right here in Columbus, Ohio. The best part is that we are able to help advance the treatment regimens that our own son, Jacob went through during his stay at this phenominal hospital. This is truly a top notch organization and one we feel very honored to be partnered with in our local fundraising event.

Our first annual JAKESTRONG event was held last May 14th, 2011 in Powell OH. The 5k event was attended by nearly 400 people and for that we thank each and every one of you that came out to show your support in the fight against childhood cancer. This year we have big plans to continue the journey in raising awareness and vital funds for research against cancer that strikes far too many of our children. Fueled by the will and determination of our son, Jacob Carlino, and his fight to win, it is our hope that others will join us in this great cause and eventually put and end to cancer for our youth.  Our goal is to have $1 million dollars in The Jacob Carlino Foundation one day to give to institutions, such as Nationwide Children’s Hospital, St. Jude and Hope Street Kids for pediatric cancer research.  Every cent counts!
